Most radios have both a 'constant' and a 'switched' power source. The 'constant' is a low voltage source that provides enough power to "remember" things like station presets, clock settings and whether or not the radio was on or off when the vehicle was last turned off.

Sounds to me like your 'constant' power is no longer functioning. Could be a corroded connection, a broken wire, etc.

Unfortunately that's all I can offer you as I've never worked on or even been in a Vauxhall.

Q: In my 2005 vauxhall movano everytime the ignition is turned of the 24hr clock resets itself to 0.00 also the radio does not come on when the ignition is turned back on you have to turn the radio on?
