A handbill was drawn by Paul Revere to show the soldiers shooting colonists and it was all over Boston as Propaganda against the British. In reality the event was spun to make people mad and to push the issue of independence. There were other events like it that happened, but you never hear about them. Adams served as the lawyer for the soldiers. History channel investigated it in the Unsolved History series look for it.
