They were made from 1980 to 1982 , they were to heavy to be a proper derringer , they were also I think butt ugly , I was a gunsmith in Lander Wyoming in 1980 when they first came out and I bought one and slimed it down and reshaped it to a more pleasing prpfile , still looked to fat so I sold it , they only lasted a couple of years and I dont thnk they are missed at all. The company that is listed in the related links IS NOT the Buffalo Arms in question that made Buffalo Arms Derringers. The company went out of business long ago, and there are no known websites, or information regarding them.
Buffalo Arms in Towanda, NY made machine guns from WWII onward till the early 1980's. They made only a few thousand of the Model 1 Derringers, most marked .357 Magnum, some marked .38 Spl. They are nickel plated, flat sided barrels and are very high quality. I understand a lot of them were given to Vietnam veterans as presentation guns. They are increasing in price, currently around $150 - $250 depending on condition.mark

There is a Texas based company called Bond Arms Inc. They make derringers in a variety of calibers. One is the 45 Long Colt. Due to the diameter of the 45 Long Colt and the 410 shotgun shell, the derringer will safely fire both shells. I have one. It is a blast to shoot. The quality of the firearm is excellent and it is not cheap. $400 plus.
Inexpensive hand guns.
You can buy them at Buffalo Arms.

Calgary is the name of a Province in Canada. They do not have a logo, but a coat of arms that shows a crest, buffalo, horses, maple leaf and sun.

I am 57 years young I have noticed that my skin on my arms is thinning. What can I do to prevent this problem?
When Davis arms went out of business Cobra Pistols bought their equipment and continued to make Derringers under their name. I believe all the parts are interchangeable, See link below for Cobra pistols.
