AT&T is actively (1/2012) working to bring more landline bandwidth into Gualala. The result should be DSL service, and backhaul for a cell tower. Nothing has been announced but engineers have been investigating tower locations in the Gualala area. Service should be on the way, unless the Mendocino County Tin Foil Hat Brigade steps into plug the work in progress.
