Aleve is a good drug for minor aches and pains. It may help with chronic low Back pain, depending on the severity. Stretching and walking every day is probably the best solution for low back pain.
Advil or Motrin (ibuprofen) and Aleve (naproxen) are anti-inflammatory drugs and work very well for back pain, if that pain is soft tissue related. There are a few drugs that can help with nerve pain, but these are by prescription only. Arthritis pain, mild to moderate pain, are treatable with ibuprophen or naproxen sodium, but good old fashioned aspirin or acetaminophen typically work better.
Back pain medication can be non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and/or acetaminophen. You can take Advil, Tylenol, Aleve, Mortino or Aspirin for back pain. There are also rub on creams available from these same brands for area specific pains.
That's pretty common. Try taking a couple of Advil or Aleve; that should help.
Cut back on the Motrin - see your doctor if you are experiencing heavy bleeding while on Motrin.
Yes! Your UA test may come back positive with the use of Excedrin. Moreover, the use of Motrin, Advil, and other pain relievers may come back as false positives also.
yes
We usually give something called NSAIDS, or Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory drugs, such as Aleve (Naprosyn), Motrin (Ibuprofin), Indocin (Indomethcin... my favorite), etc... For a full list, Google "NSAIDS" (without the quote marks)...
Is it normal for a female to have lower back pains when they are on there menstural cycle?
Motrin is ibuprofen, which is a pain reliever. It will help with mild lower back pain. It is not a miracle drug and for severe pain one should contact a doctor.
yes
Tylenol will not cure the pain of gout. It's better to treat the cause of gout: perhaps get a prescription for Colchicine and make diet changes..but for pain you need an anti-inflammatory. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is not an anti-inflammatory. There are some very good prescription Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatoriy Drugs (NSAIDS) or OTC NSAIDS like Aleve and Motrin. This is very painful and you may need something stronger until you can relieve the condition in your joint(s). Hopefully it will disappear and never come back. There are also specific medications for gout that your doctor can suggest.
