Is Buddhism the most popular religion in the world?

Answer: Are burgers, chips etc. the most popular types of food? If so, does this mean that fast foods and snacks are better relative to other types of food? Buddhism, like Evolution and Quantum Physics, may not be the most popular body of knowledge in the world, but this certainly should not imply that Buddhism is less valuable or true by this inappropriate yardstick (popularity).
