Edom is not Caucasian but Africans. Edom settled in Benue state of Nigeria. Edom is also called Idumea in The Bible in curses of Isaiah chapter 34:5 and 34:6 because of God's anger against Edom for what they did to their brother Israel. Hence they lost their home in the Sinai and gathered in Benue State of Nigeria today. Edom, also called Idumea refer to themselves today as Idoma. Elah was a prince in Edom. Ada and Oholibama were the wives of Esau. Adah is the name of the first daughter of the family in Idoma. The Egyptians called Idumea Adum or Aduma. Aduma is a name in Idoma. These are the children of Esau ,Echo in Idumea which translate as stone. Edom in Idoma means "my kind of person."

In the bible, Ada and Oholibama were Canaanite women from the tribes of Hittites and Hivites. Archaeological evidence traced these tribes to mount Ida in Turkey. The name Ida come from the Greek goddess Idaa. These two names are also names in in Idumea in Nigeria. The other wife of Esau was Basemath, daughter of Ishmael, sister of Nebajoth. Dumah was also the 6th son of Ishmael. So Esau married the sister of Dumah. Today, Dumah people dwell in the neighbouring state of Nasarawa state, in Nigeria.

Biblical evidence showed that Idumeas became annexed to Judah. Evidence in our town of Otukpo confirmed this.

My grand mother's village is Asa. Asa was a king in Judah. His father was called Abijah. Abijah is also a name in our tribe. Abijah's brother was Atai, Atai is also a name in my tribe. These were the grand children of King Solomon.

In Our town of Otukpo, there is a road called Jericho road. This is to remind us about the area some of us came from in Isreal. There is another area called Italy. This is to remind us about the treaty of Italy or Rome which made the Herods who were Idumeas rulers over Israel.

Idumea today dwell side by side in the land of Idumea together with Otukpo, Judah, just like we dwelt together in the land of Israel. Judah has never left Edom or Idumea alone. Just like we lived together in Israel and Sinai, we still live together in Otukpo and Idumea, Benue state of Nigeria.

No. Edom comprised the descendants of Esau (Genesis 36:1,9). Esau was a Semite; a son of Isaac and Rebecca (Genesis ch.25), as was Jacob (ibid). The Semites are neither Caucasian nor African. Esau had three wives (Genesis ch.36), one of whom was also Semitic (the sister of Ishmael), and two of whom were Canaanites. The Canaanites, though not Semites, are also not African; they are non-African descendants of Ham (Genesis ch.10).

Note that the present location of Edom has no bearing on their ancestry, since they moved repeatedly.

More information:

The Torah speaks of three branches of post-Flood mankind: Yefet (Jafeth), Ham, and Shem (the three sons of Noah; Genesis ch.10).
The children of Yefet are (broadly speaking) the Europeans (Caucasians).
The children of Ham include the ancient Egyptians, Canaanites, Nubians, Bantu (and sub-Saharan Africans in general), and many others.
The children of Shem include the ancient Assyrians, Elamites, Arameans, Lyddians, and other Semitic peoples. One group of Semites gave rise to the Arabs, Hebrews, Moabites, Ammonites, Edumeans and others.
