Gojira is the Japanese name for "Godzilla" wrong actually Gojira is a combination of 2 words mening Gorrilla and Whale

Godzilla is just a translation from Gojira(Godzilla in Japanese). There is a rumor though that the guy who thought "Gojira"up (when I use Gojira throught this, the quotation marks will mean that I'm refering to the movie Gojira) was nicknamed Gojira, a cross beatween Gorilla (gorira) and a whale (kujira) and crossed them, and he loved the nickname, and named the monster that. A crue member who helped maked the film remembers people rallying names for the monster.
already is...... called the gojira (japanese for godzilla) but recently renamed to the bridgitte bardot.
