Lebanon is a Levantine country, both ethnically and regionally. It is not in the Arabian Peninsula and its people descend primarily from the Phoenicians, not the Arabians. However, many people use the word Arabian improperly to refer to Arabs, which refer to any people who take on Arabic language and culture, which includes the Lebanese. Lebanon is considered an Arab country.
