the b2200 motor is the same basic Mazda fe short block. the only difference in the blocks is the f2, or the 2.2 is the block being the stroked version of the fe. same bore same block same mounts. different head, intake, and exhaust manifolds. also different ecu and harness.
yes on some models, the parts are the same.
i have a b2200 Mazda 1993 and everytime i brake a clicking noise come out of the passenger side like in the back of the seat at the same time the brake pedal moves down with each click what can that be.
All 1986-1993 models have the same doors.
Any b2200 from 86-93 are a direct bolt up.Keep in mind the b2000 is some what different but uses essentially the same wiring, diff carb (a touch diff there). Now the b2600 is totally different and not sure this will bolt up to the b2200 transmission, and def NOT the b2600i.Keep it simple and find a good b2200 engine with low miles,or if none just get your current engine rebuilt for say done by a shop around 800-1100 depending on shops.Just some thoughts.Stick with the b2200 easier to swap and no wiring changes required.Rebuilding is a good idea bc some shops can do it and warranty the work and you have a fresh engine with zero miles!
Trying to find the same myself...my guess is "No" since the vehicle is older than 1996.
Yes, this is as easy a swap as you'll ever do. It's the same engine almost; same cylinder head, same carburetor, same starter, the B2200 uses an F2 which is a slightly modified FE which is what you will find in the last few years B2000, I think 84-87.
yes, the 626 and mx6 are interchangable maybe diff wiring but the same
same problem.. i've been looking for it the whole day and I can't find it.
no problem, you may have to change the motor mounts but its the same transmission...
Yes you can.The 86-93 model mazda b series trucks have the same bumper and mounting points while some designs are different in LOOKS like with chrome or trim on them. They are interchangeable. The end caps are the same except on the four wheel drive trucks(this is just specific to those).Ok simple swap is A OK!
Well on my 1987 it is stamped on the driver side frame rail (with the left front wheel removed) you can see the serial numbers stamped into the metal at the curveature behind the shock going toward the fender weld.Should be the same for your model.Easy.
