Yes, Russia is a superpower in military,population,size but russia have to go on with it's economic problem before it's a complete superpower.

∙ 15y agoThe concept of the modern superpower has really only arisen since WWII. The rise of the USA and the USSR (Russia) as superpowers was almost simultaneous; it is fairly futile to try to rank one against the other. In earlier history several powers were more-or-less superpowers of their day, including the Romans, Spain, and China.
