Indeed Tia Maria is gluten free.
1) Never drink rubbing alcohol. 2) If the alcohol is distilled, it contains no gluten. 3) If you have a contact allergy to wheat gluten, you may want to check with the manufacturer before using a particular brand.
Yes it is I am gluten free and drink it very nice stuff
Yes, All grain distilled alcohol is gluten free.
Yes.
Most alcoholic drinks are gluten free. Wine and distilled spirits are all safe to drink. Hard cider is also gluten free. Mixes may or may not be gluten free, so you have to read the labels carefully. Beer is NOT gluten free (because of the barley) - unless you drink specialty gluten-free beers, which are fairly easy to find.
i suppose not if you cannot drink whiskey, and very frustrating as this is my favourite drink,
Gluten comes from wheat, while wine is made with grapes. To avoid gluten, don't drink beer.
According to the following website Coeliac Society of Ireland - it is gluten free: http://coeliac.ie/webboards/viewtopic.php?t=2957
The worry many celiacs have concerning vanilla extract is that it usually contains, in large part, alcohol. The concern is that the alcohol, if it is made with a grain like wheat or barley, could contain gluten. Distilled alcohol, however, is gluten free even if the alcohol was originally made with a gluten-containing grain. The distillation process removes the gluten. Vanilla extract is ordinarily made with distilled alcohol. In case of any doubts, use a vanilla extract made with bourbon which is certified gluten free and is also excellent tasting.
The Straw-ber-Rita is made from Malt, which is typically derived from Barley. Although Bud claims that the gluten is somehow disinegrated during the brewing process, thereby renderering it "gluten free", this is not a gluten free drink. For someone with Celiac's disease, it would not be a safe bet. There are most likely traces of gluten. Drink with caution.
Not unless you specifically choose gluten-free beers. They are brewed from other stocks, such as sorghum or rice and contain minimal or zero gluten. Regular beers will make you react if you have Celiac disease.
