REPLACE THE MOTOR But first make sure the nut attaching the wiper cam to the motor is not loose or has slipped. When the wipers were turned off on my 2000 LS1 they stopped at 12:00. When I turned them on they went first to 9:00 then to 2:00. I was going to replace the motor but noticed the motor always runs one way and the wipers reverse by a cam. The cam was out of sync with the motor because the nut on the motor shaft had allowed everything to slip.
