It all depends on what your using it for, in example. If you have a 400 watt 4 channel amplifier then that means you can hook up 4 units to the amplifier at a 100 watts each (4x100=400). these units could be things such as door speakers, tweeters, mid ranges, anything that produces sound. A mono is no better than 4 channel it is just used for a different purpose. Mono or Mono-block amplifiers are used for subwoofers because they only have one slot to exert power from so the whole power of the amp is distributed to one source. The cool thing about 4 channel amplifiers is that you can get some decent aftermarket door speakers and hook them up to your 4 channel, turn on your high pass frequency filter, and blast those speakers as loud as you want without having your bass drown them out.
A mono amp is an amplifier that puts out only one channel of sound, as opposed to a stereo amp that puts out two channels of sound. A mono amp is generally used for extremely low frequencies (ie bass) that are channeled into a single subwoofer. It doesn't matter that both stereo channels are combined for these low bass frequencies because you couldn't tell which channel the sounds are coming from anyway (because you feel the sound pressure more than hear the sound).
You won't notice any stereo separation with two subwoofers because our ears perceive bass as omnidirectional. Two subs can make more volume than one of the same size. If you are using two subs, you should either use two separate mono amps, or a two channel setup. As long as the amps have a high pass filter they will work equally well, although the wiring will be simpler for the two Chanel setup.
WTF...Channel V better than MTV? Have you gone insane? You are really punked.
Sony has the best car amplifier on the market. These are typically more expensive as well.
Thats really an opinion both brands are good amps and both are tested to show their correct wattage if not more than
clubpenguin channel by bluepend1 is the best heatblast is so mean he ignors you so i think bluepend1 and clubpenguin channel is better
Class C amplifier.. A class D amplifier is more efficient than class B, and is more efficient than class C as well.
A monster amplifier is about 500 watts, which means the amplifier is louder than most.
You mean which channel is the best I think Cartoon Network is better than Disney Channel Because Cartoon Network has more good cartoons than Disney channel that my opionion
if it is 350 rms by 2 channels it is 175 rms each channel unless it can be bridged than its 350 rms by 1 channel
Bridging two amplifier channels is a way of delivering more power to a single speaker. A two channel amplifier might have a power output of 100W per channel. By linking them together, the power output to the single speaker can increase to 200W. It's not always quite that simple. If the amplifier can be bridged, it will say so in the manual and it will show the connections that need to be used. Trying to bridge an amplifier that is unsuitable is a sure fire way of killing the amplifier and perhaps the speaker itself. There are certainly methods that can be used to bridge amplifier channels even if the manufacturer does not offer the facility. To do so needs an intimate knowledge of the electronics used in the amplifier. The fact that this question is being asked indicates that the required knowledge isn't there right now. Much safer to obtain an amplifier that is rated and approved for bridged loads than risk the unpleasant results of getting it wrong.
the meaning of mono is one but mono can be spread to more than one person
