Triceratops fossils have never been found in Texas. They probably never lived in Texas. However, another ceratopsian dinosaur called Agujaceratops did live in Texas between 75 and 73.5 million years ago.
During the Triassic and Cretaceous periods, dinosaurs were most common, but of course there wasn't really that many in Texas in the first place, compared to places like Asia and Central Africa. Of the dinosaur fossils that have been discovered in Texas, the most common has been small ceratopsin Protoceratops, the theropod Oviraptor, and Velociraptor. Others have been discovered, but not so many as to suggest an avid population. Some of these include the early prosauropods such as Thecodontosaurus, which appeared to be from the Triassic period. Those are only the most prominent types that have been discovered. Many more are found near the borders and surrounding states that could be found around he center of Texas.
Hope this helps!
