Yes.
It could be a heart attack. They don't always kill right away or render you incapacitated. Sometimes they just hurt for a while and then get better. But you should always see a doctor about a heart attack or a suspected one. If you can have one you can have another and that one might kill you. Heart attacks can damage the heart making future problems even more likely.
