A judge determines if a landlord is in violation of the ADA. There are some things the ADA does not cover.
Federal Law trumps state law so in short the answer is yes. To deny entrance to an assistance animal (not just guide dog) is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities act and as such a civil rights violation.
What sort of violation? If the violation is something like a minor speeding ticket, seat belt violation, etc., then yes. If the violation is something like a DUI, reckless endangerment, something of that nature, then no.
It would be a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act, though this does not necessarily mean they won't. The safety and best interest of the child will be the deciding factors. The court will order a home study and other evaluations.
The violation should tell you what your options are and how fast you should do something about the violation
No. A Muslim person is required to carefully wash and change clothes before praying after contacting a dog's saliva, but a taxi driver should not be exposed to such contact from a service animal, which is highly trained and well-behaved. It is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act for a taxi driver to refuse to carry a passenger because they have a service animal.
During World War II & the war with Japan, many Japanese-Americans were put into Internment Camps. This was a huge human rights violation. Once the war was over, the president of the United States of America publicly apologized for this violation.
What university is asking this question? Unless they have a very good reason for asking it (such as, you're applying to the Unites Sates Military Academy, and must meet the United Sates Army's fitness criteria) this appears to be a clear violation of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 USC 12181- 12189), which specifically says, in part, that a university may not discriminate based on disability. Mental health issues, to be clear, are considered a disability for purposes of the Act. (Person who asked this) no not a uni, a college, that you can go to at 16 (its different in the UK) its not a question persoanlly aimed at me, everyone has to answer it on the form, i just wondered why. i have depression, why do they need to know this. what are the pros and cons? to knowing this information
They believed he was sacred and the study a violation of his peace.

Yes, some colleges make it a requirement. My wife is in a top ivy league university and they required her to pass a swim test. Luckily she's a good swimmer. I don't know exactly why they do this. This really depends on the college. In the event a person is disabled a public college or University can NOT require any form of physical activity for admissions as it is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. A fear of water IS a disability. This kind of requirement would depend a lot on the cirriculum you are going to study. A siming test might make sense for a physical education major, but not very much for a music major.
