Notebook (general laptop, most used for word processing on the go)
Netbook (strictly made for internet and social networking)
Desktop (the do it all machine, mostly browsing and gaming)
Net-top (less powerful desktop made for word processing and internet)
All-in-One (PC in which all components form one machine; less cords, and more space)
In order of size: Desktop > Net-top > All-in-One > Notebook > Netbook

∙ 12y agoNetbooks are much smaller than a Notebook. Most of the Notebooks come with the size of 12, 14 inch or 17 inch display, however Netbooks come maximum of 10 inch screen size.
I am currently using Intel atom based processors Netbook because it is a great little piece of technology, lightweight and easy to take anywhere, and is much lesser price as compare with Laptop and with a great battery life. Its light weight makes it a favourite of the business traveller.

∙ 11y agoUsually Netbooks are smaller. They are designed to be light weight so they don't have a lot of processing power. But there are some mini laptops that are smaller. It usually depends on the brand and type.
