Hi I am a wedding planner, it is lots of fun, you do deal with some hard to please people but on the most part it is easy. You need to establish yourself with photagrahers and halls and all the emenities you need for a wedding. They will give you deals for your customers because you agree to use them. They will also give you a cut. Start searching the web for planners in your area for there cost and make a website of your own and cards. Hand them out to wedding shops and start networking. Hope this helps
A wedding planner has the benefit of working with people who are thinking about and planning for one of the biggest days of their lives. Engaged couples can be happy couples. But the flip side of that is that engaged couples can also be stressed out. They may make your life difficult. You have to enjoy working with other people to be a wedding planner.
yes, yes it is
The physical demands of being a wedding planner depend on the wedding. Sometimes the wedding planner needs to set up tables, chairs and decorations. They sometimes help with loading food and flowers. The job is very emotionally stressful as well. There is a lot of running back and forth on the wedding day.
You do not have to take a class to become a wedding planner. Being certified does look good to your clients and may lead to you making more money.
i wouldn't know im just a kid lol
no because what if you needed an item and you didnt have it then wot u gonna do?
Yes you can get dearest and never find love :(
It is very hard and very time consuming to start your own wedding planning business. If you are hoping for this to be your only means for money, then to start of with you might want to have a part-time job doing something eles. Being a wedding planner you don't get a pay check every week.
It depends on where you want to locate. Being a wedding planner is a good job; however, you should research the demand for the area that you are considering.
You don't get any awards u just get love and thanks to the bride whom u helped a lot.
There is a fantastic independent wedding planner in Mauritius called Pia Mordaunt-Smith of 'The Main Event' who used to live and work in London, but now lives in Mauritius and organises tailor-made weddings on any budget for couples who are having trouble planning their wedding from abroad. She speaks the local language, has great contacts and will plan your wedding from A-Z, as well as being there on the day with you to make sure everything runs smoothly.
What is your question? Is it1. If a professional wedding planner is getting married, do they pay for their own wedding?OR is your question2. Do professional wedding planners pay for their clients weddings? If your question is #1 then of course they pay for their weddings, planners are people just like anyone else; who have to pay for goods and services but being a planner they should have a good relationship with many vendors(photographers, stationers, bakers, florists, bands) and they will probably work out a discount with these vendors because they are friends and have professional relationships w/each other. If your question is #2 then the answer is No! why would a complete stranger pay for someone else's wedding? Wedding planners/coordinators are running a business, not a charity. A wedding planner plans, implements and coordinates all wedding related efforts for their clients, some even own event design companies that take care of florals, lighting, rentals and all decor as well as wedding planning but wedding planners get paid for planning weddings.
