actually, it is. It is considered a southern colony due to its great agriculture. Unlike the North (New England) the south were not as good in the industries. So agriculture (Tobacco) was there greater of the two. Some consider it to be a middle but it is more south.

Yes, It is in southeastern Virginia. About 200 miles south of the infamous Mason-Dxon line which seperatea the North and Souh and 40 miles or so east of Richmond. That would make it culturally and geographically the South.
