i dont know if its normal but my cr 85 leaks there and everyone that i know had one says thiers leaked too it may not be normal but its definetly common and im sure its a very easy fix probobly a new gasget or tighter springs can help it.
The exhaust manifold needs to have a gasket in place to help seal the juncture between the manifold and the engine. After the gasket and gasket sealer are in place, tighten the bolts for the exhaust manifold. The exhaust pipe can then be replaced on the new exhaust manifold.
the function of an exhaust manifold on a gasoline or diesel engine is to expel the burnt fuel from the combustion chamber of each piston out through the exhaust pipe after each combustion stroke of the piston has been completed.
Exhaust tec means TORQUE EXPANSION CHAMBER it increases power and mileage of automobile
The main reason for exhaust temprature is the problem with the injectors.the unburnt fuel from the combustion chamber flows to the exhaust manifold while engine works. This unburnt fuel burns in the exhaust manifold burns and causes high exhaust temprature.
The intake manifold is where the air and fuel mix and enter the engine. The exhaust manifold is where unspent gas and air exit the engine. In other words the intake manifold is where the engine breathes in and the exhaust manifold is how the engine exhales out.
sell your van the studs for the maniflold are going to break and you most likely will have to replace head Between the exhaust manifold and the head is the manifold gasket. Where the exhaust pipe connects to the exhaust manifold is a manifold doughnut gasket.
02 sensor is either in exhaust manifold, or in exhaust pipe between manifold and muffler
either in exhaust manifold or in exhaust between manifold and muffler
In the exhaust system between the exhaust manifold(s) and the muffler.
oxygen sensor is found either in exhaust manifold or in actual exhaust pipe between manifold and muffler
The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold before the catalytic convertor. If you look down between the radiator and the exhaust manifold a few inches before the exhaust pipe connects to the exhaust manifold you will see the Oxygen sensor. The sensor will have 2 wires coming from it and it kinda looks like a sparkplug stuck into the exhaust manifold. There is 2 nuts that hold the oxygen sensor into the exhaust manifold.
