Fitjee is not paying salaries to its emlployees for the last 2 months. and also it is not paying creditors in the market.

Blue dart has recently stopped business with the company and also it is believed that company has to pay many big vendors crores of ruppes.

The managing diector of the company is a very big foolish person who is not able to realise the situation as on the one hand he is spending crores of ruppes on advertising and publicity for branding on the other side not paying salaries and amount due to the vendors and the creditors and there by spoiling the reputation of the company.

It is beleieved that recently company recruited around 9 CFO"s on a very very high salary package and opened some new branches also , so company is in a very bad shape as there is complete misappropriation of funds.

It is high time that all this matter should go to govt. of India and Mr. kapil Sibbal who is the education minister so that everybody is aware of the situation of fiitjee.

Couple of months back brilliant tutorials had experienced the same siyuation and now the company in delhi is closed and it also had a crores of liabity on it.

People should be very careful in admitting their childerns as this the question of their carrer and parents today have very hard earned money.

The whole matter should be published in national newpapers and leading news channels.

In interest of awareness of general public

What are the rights of a cosigner when the primary filed bankruptcy then didnt pay the bankruptcy so the bankruptcy was dismissed?

As a cosigner, you are not at all protected if the primary signer files for bankruptcy. In many cases, filing for bankruptcy relieves the primary signer on the loan from his obligations towards the loan, at which point the lender will turn to the cosigner for payment. You'll either have to pay the loan or file for your own bankruptcy (if necessary).Unfortunately, you're stuck with the loan regardless of whether or not the primary signer successfully completes his bankruptcy filling. You may want to contact a bankruptcy lawyer for some additional advice or assistance.

What are the steps towards filing bankrupt?

Good question. There is a common misconception that bankruptcy is simple to file for and everyone who does so gets approved. In reality, neither of those are true. Successfully completing a bankruptcy proceeding can be a difficult process. However, there is a good deal of work you must do before you can file for bankruptcy. First, you are required to complete a "means test." This is a complicated calculation that determines your ability to pay your creditors. It also compares your financial status to the average person in your area. If you pass this means test, you are allowed to file a Chapter 7 claim in Bankruptcy court - otherwise, you can only file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy claim. The next step involves undergoing credit counseling. Bankruptcy law requires that you complete this counseling before going through the bankruptcy process. Finally, you can file for bankruptcy. In addition to filing, you must submit a bundle of paperwork with the Bankruptcy court. This paperwork includes information about your income, debts, assets, and personal information.

Can you receive a tax refund this year if you filed bankruptcy last year?

You need to discuss this with your attorney. Once you receive your tax refund, it's part of your personal assets that could be seized to pay creditors. If you file bankruptcy before you get your taxes then the government will keep your tax refund and put it towards your debt. The bankruptcy court has 1 year to go back and open your case even after your bankruptcy has been discharged. If you can prove that the money is needed/used for catching up rent or other nessacery bills they will not take it.

At what point should someone realize that they can't avoid bankruptcy and just go ahead and file?

Bankruptcy should be the absolute last thing that you do after every other option is exhausted and you have worked as hard as you can to pay back your debts. When someone agrees to take on a debt it becomes their obligation to make that debt good if at all possible, this means that bankruptcy is only a good solution if you are basically financially insolvent. When you are absolutely unable to pay your debts then bankruptcy becomes an acceptable option, but it will ruin your credit and, perhaps to your benefit, sour you towards credit for several years.
