Yes, helium is considered to be expensive. It is a finite resource and its production and supply are limited. The cost of helium has been increasing in recent years due to the growing demand and limited availability, which makes it relatively expensive compared to other gases.
because it is a very rare element. and any thing rare is expensive e.g gold
Helium Helium
Helium has 2 protons, 2 neutrons and 2 electrons. The symbol for helium is He and the atomic number is 2.
The valency of Helium is 0
Helium is a nonmetal. Think about the helium balloon!
Helium is extracted as a by-product of methane. Because the technology is difficult helium is expensive.
Helium can be used in refrigerators, but this application is expensive, not commercial.
its because were running out.

It can be, but usually not. Helium is a bit expensive, and it'd cost too much for most balloonists to use it. It's cheaper to use a hot air balloon. helium is lighter than air. hence balloons filled will helium will float in air.
In theory you could fight a fire with cryogenic helium, but in reality it would be exceedingly impractical and expensive. While helium is not extremely expensive, it is quite a bit more expensive than other substances normally used to fight fires - and much less plentiful. It is very expensive to lower helium to cryogenic conditions and the equipment necessary to maintain it at cryogenic conditions is also very expensive to build and operate. Note also that because it is such a light gas, it would quickly rise away from the fire, so it would require a lot more of it to fight the fire than if something heavier were used - like water, powder, or foam.
Helium is very dangerous. It can easily ignite in the time of fire. So hot air is more preferable than Helium. ----------------- Helium is very safe to use as it is non-flammable, however, it is far more expensive than hot air.
Helium is used but it is more expensive.
i havent had a helium but i have had a featherlight. heliums are more expensive but and i think are very thin. i dont reccoment a featherlight because they are made of really thin layers and chip really easily.
Usually not. Apart from Helium being a very light gas its is also a very small molecule, it is harder to contain than other gasses made up from bigger molecules.(helium is routinely used when checking for leaks in hermetically sealed systems. Partly due to traces of Helium being easy to detect, partly because if helium can't get out, then nothing else will.) A Helium filled tire would lose pressure much faster than a tire filled with ordinary air. On top of that Helium is a bit expensive, and has to be bought in bottles. Not much point in using something that is more expensive and does a poorer job than something that's free only to save a few grams of weight.
If you have enough money you can get anything ........ Yes, you may find some at Walmart, the Dollar Store(etc.) They are not expensive.
