fuel doors are usually cable operated trunk should be same fuse as cigarette lighter
The fuel pump is mounted in the top of the fuel tank. Open the trunk, remove the carpet and remove the access cover in the bottom of the trunk, over the fuel pump. WRONG the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. there is NO WAY to access it unless you drop the tank. sheese. dont even know the difference from a fuel FILTER and a fuel PUMP. Sorry I am a licenced mech. and own a 96 milly s there is an access panel in the trunk for the fuel PUMP on the millys
It is in one of the fuse boxes under the hood - but if it is blown you may have a short in the wiring to the fuel pump which is located in the trunk. Look at the wiring close to the fuel tank where it crosses the sharp frame member.
Look inside the trunk and there is a ring that you can pull directly on the wall of the trunk on the inside of where the fuel tank door is located. Our Volvo had electrical problems in cold weather and the fuel cap door sometimes sticks when the vehicle is unlocked.

The fuel pump is mounted inside the fuel tank on top. Look for an access panel above the fuel pump. Open up the trunk and look under the mat to the left. should be an panel there to access the top of the tank so u do not have to drop the tank to replace We don't know what year your Accord is, but the pump is not accessible through the trunk panel on the 1994-1997 models. Sending unit only is accessible this way. The tank must be lowered to reach the pump. Also make sure you've properly diagnosed that the problem isn't the main fuel pump relay, or a fuse, etc, before removing the tank.
In the truck remove the left side trunk liner and there is a manual release to open the fuel door

More than likely you will have to remove the fuel tank. Open the trunk lid, pull back the carpet and see. Also look under the rear seat.
Most cars have some sort of device inside the trunk that allows you to open the fuel filler door manually. Look behind the location of the door in the trunk.

if it has a roll over switch it may be in the trunk over the fuel tank and it could be a fuse or relay if that doesn't work may be a bad pump.
