A sin to attend a wedding, of course not. A wedding is special day or time for two people who have chosen to spend the rest of their lives together and have promised to keep one another happy! If someone such as a friend of any sort, relative, or family member has been invited to share this occasious with the about-to-be couple it could never be a sin.
I don't believe it's a sin to attend the wedding. The marriage is in their love...I believe that their love is the main celebration and wouldn't be a sin at all to go and celebrate it with them.Roman Catholic answerYes, it is a sin to officially witness and/or give your support to someone committing sin, and/or committing to live in a sinful life. You should talk to your priest before doing something like this, there may be other circumstances that are relevant to the situation.
Everyone is allowed to attend a catholic wedding. There aren't any rules specified as to who should attend the wedding or not.
Wedding invitations are the traditional way of asking friends and family to attend one's wedding. Those who receive wedding invitations are asked to reply as soon as possible as to whether or not they can attend the wedding in order to provide the wedding couple with an indication as to the number of people who will attend the wedding.

You are cordially invited to attend my wedding.
If you received an invitation to the wedding then you do not need to bring the invitation to prove you were invited. If you never received an invitation to the wedding then it is not etiquette to attend the wedding and you would be considered crashing the wedding.

If your not invited to a wedding, this means you did not receive an invitation and therefore you cannot attend the wedding.
