The proper 'break in' for a new car (engine) is not to constantly drive it at one speed for hours on end. Vary your speed and how you drive for the first thousand or so miles. Don't ever run it to the max until you have about 1500 miles on it - avoid jack-rabbit starts and stops - This is an investment you have made and the idea is for it to last at least until it is paid for in 6 or 7 years!
Drive slowly and gently or replace the car.///////and do the required maintenance
Long Answer:of course, anyone can drive a car as long as they have the expertise in the subject.its like asking can a kid with bad math grades do his math? as long as they are educated to do so.Short Answer:Yes
It's physically possible. It's probably not a good idea to drive it very fast or for long distances until you find out why it's not working, though.
That may cause engine to run hot, if you plan on taking a long trip you should get engine in proper condition to prevent problems. Ensure car is properly diagnosed as well.
Yes
You can't drive the entire way - Ireland is an island, and they have yet to design an oceangoing car (even the DUKW could only traverse the calmest of seas for short distances).
Cars were built to drive old or new. I've seen new cars that i would not drive a long distance. If it is in good running order go for it. you got a 50/50 chance with any car. Just have a cell phone handy.
Very bad idea.
You can drive side by side in any state as long as you aren't blocking traffic behind you. You also can't tailgate someone in front of you to stay even with another car. Driving side by side isn't feasible for long distances.
bad transmission

That's not too difficult - until the thing stops and won't move any more!
