I foster orphaned kittens. My runts always survive. They are always frightened and anxious and clingy. I give them special treat (fancy canned) mixed with kibble (Purina cat chow), feed them separately 3 or 4 times a day, and tons of TLC. I keep the runt an extra 2 weeks before placing in a new home. In the new home they are especially loving, lap-sitting, purring cats. These symptoms gradually fade and by 3 are no longer visible.
