Mufflers if you want a "sporty sound" Entire exhaust systems if you really want sportier, and more power
If you mean two mufflers on one pipe then one (closer to the engine) is a resonator to help reduce the sound and keep the back pressure so the engine can work more effective, although most replacement exhausts dont have them....they mainly just keep it quieter...but who wants that?? LOL
Glass, stone, brick and water are good sound mufflers:)
mufflers are an option for sure. your car will have a different sound with a good one. Though full exhaust systems are always better but it's always a matter of money..
Likely, their mountings are too loose.
Mufflers only differ sound, not emissions. Same with a resonator.
Motocross racers change their mufflers for more speed. Recreational riders usually change them for the sound, the certain model mufflers or "pipes" will make dirtbikes much louder and faster
I think they've changed the mufflers, but idk
Flowmaster mufflers sound the best. I have used them for years.
Actually, mufflers ate the thing that quiet your engine. If you hear a deep sound, you likely need a new muffler.
From what I've seen most people are running Pacesetter headers, with either Magnaflow or Borla exhaust/mufflers. Some also use Flowmaster exhaust/ mufflers but from what I've heard the Flowmaster doesn't sound too hot on a v6 Camaro as far as the "Flowmaster" sound.
the only difference is the price you will pay as long as they are the same series mufflers
Sound quality is of course subjective, but I like the exhaust note of the Flow Master brand mufflers...not too loud, but definitely a performance sound.
