- It depends on the individual man. He may have been forced to end the relationship with his mistress so he has no option, but to ignore her or, he's used her; got what he wanted and is not interest in her any longer. Either way, he is not thinking much but saving his own hide.

But there are few married men that might or think the fun that he have with his mistress. And yes it depend on what type of relationship he have with his mistress. If this married man fell in love with his mistress and force to break his relationship with her for his family sake, I think he will have a bad day everytime they see each others. That's why work place is the worst place for some married men or women to think of having an affair.
