PowerPoint is presentation software produced by Microsoft. There are versions for both the Windows operating system and Apple's Mac OS X. Providing you have purchased a Copy legally it is not illegal to have PowerPoint on your computer.

Microsoft Office for Macs includes PowerPoint for the creation of a presentations. Microsoft also provide a viewer with which Mac users can view PowerPoint presentations without owning PowerPoint itself. Apple's own KeyNote software can save presentations as a PowerPoint file.

no, it is illegal because its not a apple product and if somebody wanted to buy say a HP computer they'd go to the website and find its not there. It would just confuse you.
Download the Apple Pages and Keynote from the app store. They can import Word and Powerpoint documents.
