No, but I would rather have the moving van men get the objects and NOT have the mold-ridding men come because they might they might not be experienced. So I would just, if renting that place, look at the reviews of some people and pay them to rid the mold of your soon-to-be-rented place. You might just need to spend money on a better and cleaner home instead of spending it on getting rid of mold.
Depends on the landlord tenant act for your state. Is the landlord making efforts to remove it? Is the mold present in other apartments? Consider contacting an attorney if you are having significant problems because of the mold.
Yes: as long a you are a tenant in a dwelling at the hands of a landlord, you are renting from him and must pay rent.
yes you still have to pay rent.
Yes
No
You likely can't get back the rent, if that's what you're asking. Please clarify about the "items that were damaged". How? can I withold rent for unsafe rental, including black mold, rats, bugs
Whatever the landlord charges, regardless of the type of dwelling
if you see mold in a house and rent it and become ill is the owner responesable?
No, you are not required to pay last months rent again. Just make sure you are not mistaking it for the security deposit. Rent and security deposits can be the same amount. Check your rental agreement for clarity. Julie
Generally, yes (if you want to rent a dwelling to other people). Check with the city hall in the city (or court house for the county) where you would like to rent to other people.
That would depend entirely on local codes and ordinances. I most cases the answer would be "yes, it is illegal to rent a dwelling that is known to be equipped with heating equipment installed in a manner that is unsafe or in violation of the codes". HOWEVER, even if it is not illegal in your community, it is incredibly foolish to do so and the consequences could be devastating. Poor water pressure can also have negative health risks but obviously not to the degree of the heating equipment. Call your local code authority for further information.
In some states it is illegal, in some it's not.
