I am notlawyer or anything like that. But I believe that if it is very hard for a US citizen to marry an illegal alien in the US (because of all the paperwork and time that it takes and the legth of time, one year or more. Often the illegal alien will HAVE to go back to their country and start the paperwork process from there). That's why it seems to me that it would be even more difficult for a permanent resident alien to marry an illegal alien, but perhaps not imposible-- perhaps. That is assuming that you are a permanet resident alien of the US or have a similar visa.
'Illegal alien citizen' is an oxymoron.

Contact an immigration lawyer.
Have the U.S. Citizen consult an immigration attorney in the U.S

No Australian citizen would give up their passport to become Philippino. Many would live their entire life married to a Philippine citizen and stay alien.
if you didnt know the illegal alien was there illegally, then none, and it is as simple as that. It would be the illegal alien that would be in trouble.
if u married an illegal alien u dont have a status so to speak, but u need to get him a green card, or he will get deported and whoever is married to him will have 15 yrs to life in jail for housing illegal aliens
The chance, yes. However, they are not likely to be granted it unless they were already in the process of getting residency while married.
Of course! Being married does not affect one's legal status, even a legal alien can be deported for criminal activity.

Yes, an American citizen can marry an illegal alien in America. The illegal alien can file for a Visa after marrying an American at the INS office.
yes, but there would be alot of paperworks to file. and its going to be pricey.
Unfortunately, an illegal alien can not become an US citizen if they have been deported before. If they have a felony, they can't become a US citizen either.
