Hopefully, you have provided these complaints to him in writing and by certified mail, so you can definitely have proof that you asked him to do the repairs. Take pictures. Ask friends for affidavits. Your health effects are going to be hard to document unless your doctor is willing. Then, find out the local government department that handles such things and find out your options. Check your lease to see what notice is necessary and follow that.

In Texas can a landlord enter the house without permission?

In almost any state a landlord can enter the premises if there is good cause (leaking pipes, electrical problems, etc;) Your landlord should make an effort to contact you first but regardless of your consent, the landlord may go in and inspect if there is a potential hazard to the building or other tenants. It is important to remember that while your landlord owns the property, you, as a renter retain temporal eminence (meaning that you are the temporary owner). However, the landlord has a right to look after his/her long term interests. If the landlord feels that you have violated the terms of the lease, let's say that your contract forbids a water bed in the apartment unit and your neighbor below is complaining of water leaking through the ceiling; the landlord attempts to contact you by phone but you do not answer. In this case the landlord has the obligation to the one tenant complaining of water leaking through the ceiling by entering your apartment to find the cause. Like most legal matters the situation is governed by the "reasonable-ness" of the case. Your landlord cannot enter your apartment to look around, to open your drawers or inspect the quality of your furniture or even to make sure you are in compliance of the terms of the lease, that would be a violation of your right of privacy. It would be reasonable to presume that if your lease stated that you may not have a dog as a pet for any period of time and the landlord hears barking in your apartment, he /she may enter because the barking would make it reasonable to believe that there is a dog in the apartment.

94 Buick century leaking water change pump and thermo but still leaking?

Leaking or loosing coolant? If it is leaking then where is the leak? If it is just loosing coolant with no apparent leak, then you more than likely have a blown head gasket or cracked head. If there is coolant in the oil, or white sweet smelling smoke coming from the exhaust you definitely have an internal problem. Serious engine damage will occur if you continue to drive this vehicle.

What if your landlord won't fix your leaking roof?

Look into something that is call the "implied warranty of habitability." This basically states that your landlord must abide by reasonable standards in regards to the condition of the building that they are renting to you. You may want to talk to an attorney if you are not getting the response that you need out of your landlord. If this "leak" makes your rented space uninhabitable, you actually may have grounds for breach of contract in regards to your lease agreement assuming that you have given the landlord ample time to rectify the problem.

How dangereous is a leaking valve in heart of young child?

It matters which valve is leaking, how much is leaking and the cause of the leak. It can be fatal but could be repaired depending on the condition of the valve and the particular valve affected. It is not wise the let the child to get overexerted and it is best to have a cardiologist determine all the variables involved with that particular child.
