Yes it's normal. As we grow to know each other in a relationship sometimes people take each other for granted or get tired of the same old routine, but it doesn't mean they don't love you. Instead of waiting for him to phone go out with girlfriends, be more independent and let him know you aren't waiting for his calls. It's better each of you have other interests and aren't fused at the hip 24/7.
