Is it normal for a person to think of their spouses betrayal even though the two are not together anymore?

• Yes, it's very normal for a person who has been betrayed by an ex spouse to think of it off and on because when two people meet and either marry or living together they are so much in love they feel that love will never diminish no matter what problems arise, but the reality of it is, that one spouse can be weaker as far as trying to save a marriage and would rather cheat than be honest and go for a divorce. Once a spouse is caught cheating the other spouse is deeply hurt because that bond of trust was broken and it is not easily earned back by the cheater. Sometimes it can be curiosity or a little jealousy thinking the ex spouse who cheated is having the time of their lives when they ruined your life and you may be feeling lonely and rejected. Generally the truth is the cheating spouse is not having the time of their lives and may never know how to have a solid relationship with another person. It is time for you to stand up; dust yourself off; get out with friends for some fun and get back into dating because there are some wonderful people out there and when you least expect it you will find that special someone.
