Prolactin levels have a great deal to do with milk production and release as does oxytocin (another hormone). Since prolactin is sometimes a component of Birth Control pills it is possible that milk leakage is the result of oral contraception. The other factor, oxytocin, promotes the emptying of breast and is released with physical stimulation of the breasts, either by the baby but not necessarily so.
Always a good idea to consult your OB/G.
I wondered this as well but haven't been able to find an answer. I have this problem 4 months after giving birth. Assume it's hormonal and have been told hormones can take a while to return to normal and the length of time varies for each person.
Taken from www.bith.com.au: Some women will try and express colostrum from their breasts during pregnancy. If you do it is normal to only to get a few drops out at any one time. This can be done by massaging the breast down to the nipple and then compressing the areola, with your fingers at least a couple of centimetres behind the actual nipple. Some parents express concerns that if they leak colostrum they will not have 'enough' for their new baby when he or she is born. This is a myth, because the breasts are capable of constantly replenishing colostrum and breast milk every 3 to 4 hours or so. Your new baby will get all they need! This is why women can still breastfeed other children while they are pregnant, and a few will even 'tandem feed' (that is feeding the older sibling and new baby) after the birth Hope this Helps
The Jet Stream is still at it's normal height but is lower in latitude which is giving us a cooler and colder winter than if was higher and allowing warm air to reach more parts of Canada.
There are 4 normal forms in databases. First normal form, second, third and fourth normal forms are there.

yes, after childbirth your hormones will flux up to 3 years good luck Joymaker RN
Both breastfeeding and the contraceptive implant can prevent bleeding.
This is not normal, see a doctor and get a diagnosis immediately.
NO!!!
Ladies can only wish (if they are as small as me) that their breasts will be permanently big. If you don't breastfeed they will go back to their original size. And if you do breastfeed they will go back to their original size once you have stopped breastfeeding. The enlargement during pregnancy and after birth has nothing to do with the fatty tissues but fluid in the glandular tissues.
My breast leaked over a year after I had my children. My doctor said it was normal.
Absolutely normal, do not worry, it is a sign that the glands which produce the hormone prolactine began to work.
This is normal. If you are worried, go and see your doctor or midwife
Leaking as in dripping 4 months after you stop nursing is not "normal" and needs a call to your doctor or midwife. Leaking as in droplets seen on your nipple or felt on on your bra, especially if the baby is crying or sucking on a bottle or leaking during sex is completely normal and may be seen or felt for months after lactation has ended.
Yes.
It could be normal. During pregnancy you usually have more discharge and they usually vary from watery to thick. If it concerns too much you ask your doctor about it.
You mean vaginally? No. Discharge is normal. You mean liquid leaking from your breasts? It can be but that can also happen during puberty or other hormonal changes in life.
