Nope, Intake typically has nothing to do with your oil, its just air, and sometimes coolant. oil can get into a cylinder 4 different ways: 1st. Bad piston rings, 2nd. Bad valve stem seals, 3rd. Cracked head block, or piston. 4th. lastly it can be a vacuum related issue, but the oil would come from your intake then get into the head. Like if a automatic transmission modulator valve goes bad the vacuum form the engine will suck Transmission Fluid right into the engine.
Between the intake manifold and the cylinder head.
Yes , engine coolant can get in an engine cylinder from a bad head gasket , a warped or cracked cylinder head , a bad intake manifold gasket etc. ( P.S. I'm not a mechanic / technician )
The Intake gasket is leaking, NOT THE HEAD GASKET. Replace the intake gasket
The head gasket on a 2004 Kia Rio is replaced by draining the coolant, removing the intake manifold, and unbolting the cylinder heads. The head and gasket can then be removed and a new gasket put in place.
The head gasket on a 1999 Chevy Malibu is replaced by removing the coolant, intake manifold, and retaining bolts. The cylinder head can then be removed, the gasket replaced, and everything reassembled.
The 1999 Pontiac cylinder head gasket bolt torque specification is 160 pounds. The intake manifold bolt torque specification is 90 pounds.
ON a oil dipstick its a sure sign your head gasket is blown. I was lucky once on a camaro where it was just the intake head and not the cylinder head

I WOULD LIKE TO GET AN ANSWER ON THESE DETAILS ABOUT AUDI A4 1.8T 1 = REPAIR PRICE IN SOUTH AFRICA ON CYLINDER HEAD GASKET INTAKE AND OUTTAKE VALVES AND ALL THE FAN BELTS ?
Should just be the gasket but check the upper side of the cylinder head while you have it apart to see if it has problems. Intake gasket leaks will present vacuum problems, if pressure is pushing air out of the affected area then it may be the head.
I don't know which one was at fault but I replaced the head, the head gasket, and the intake manifold gasket.
If it is leaking from a bad head gasket, it is because of a bad head gasket. If it is leaking from a bad intake manifold gasket, it is because of a bad intake manifold gasket.
Cracked cylinder head, blown head gasket, engine block or intake gaskets.
