Where do you add the antifreeze Lincoln LS?

You can add it to the coolant reservoir. It's located in the top left corner of your engine. Make sure your car is cool before you add in the antifreeze.

How do you check water in radiator how much do you put in?

The cooling system in most vehicles has a reservoir and the reservoir is marked full and add. Open the cap when vehicle is totally cooled down and add a mixture of 50% water and 50% antifreeze and be sure to add the correct antifreeze for your vehicle. Never add just plain water unless it is an emergency to get you to a garage.

How do you add coolant to a Dodge Durango?

There is a reservoir container marked "coolant" in the engine compartment. Add a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water. (If you use "50/50" or "pre mixed" antifreeze, DO NOT ADD WATER). Let the engine get warm and fill to the full line.

How do you add antifreeze to a 1989 735IL?

You add 50/50 antifreeze water mix at the reservoir in your engine compartment. It is located centered, under the windshield. This engine has to have the air bleed out very well. With engine OFF, turn the heater controls to maximum heat. On the thermostat housing, where upper radiator attaches, there are two thermosensors, with electrical connections and a 19mm plug in between them. Remove this plug and it's compression washer, add your antifreeze mix slowly to the reservoir. When you see antifreeze come out of this port, reinstall the plug with washer. There is a small bleed bolt, I think 8mm, that needs to be loosen. It is located on the top of the thermostat housing. Add coolant until it runs freely from the bleed bolt, then tighten it. Continue to add antifreeze mix to proper level in reservoir. Install cap in reservoir and start engine. Turn heater fan on max and monitor the temp gauge. You might have to repeat the bleeding process.

How do you know when to add antifreeze or coolant to the radiator of a 2003 Kia optima?

For the most part, only old cars (pre 1970s.....) require adding coolant directly to the radiator. Newer vehicles have a "reservoir tank" that can be accessed anytime. If the reservoir is below the Full line (or nearing or below the Low line....) - you can add proper antifreeze/coolant (check your owner's manual) directly to this reservoir tank.I've included the eHow article which outlines this process too....not to be confused, some owner's manuals MAY require "radiator flushing" - this is the only exception when you would add antifreeze/coolant to the "radiator" itself....and only when the vehicle has not been driven.
