The water should not be turned off until at the recommended level. Leave the hose on. Pool & Spa

There may be small gaps at the corners. Once water is put in the pool, the pressure will stretch the liner to fill these gaps. Since the water fill from the bottom upwards, any air "trapped" on the bottom will be forced out the top as well when the pool is filled. The water is in the pool, liner is rounded in the corners and their is approximately 1" space between the liner and bottom/side corner of the pool bottom.

I had an inground pool installed. We just turned on the lights at night and noticed footprints on the bottom. Can this be fixed? Call the pool company back. The bottom is normally sand mixed with cement. The liner will probably have to be removed and bottom smoothed. They should have checked that before installing the liner. Those printswi catch sediment and debris for the life of the liner.

yes you just need to remove the old liner, take out any rotted pieces of plywood or 2x4s, replace the rotted pieces while putting back any dirt that falls in while removing the old pices of plywood, then either put old liner back in or replace with new liner
