It it possible to take Valium (diazepam) and Ativan (lorazepam) at the same time however it is uncommon for both to be prescribed. However some doctors will prescribe Valium for continuous use, typically three times daily, and may give some Ativan to take as needed or panic attacks or insomnia.
Keep in mind that Valium is a far less more potent drug than Ativan, 0.5- 1 mg is equivalent to 10 mg of Valium.

∙ 15y agoAtivan is a benzodiazapine agonist, leading to sedation, etc. Oxycodone is a powerful opioid. The additive effects of both together may result in vasodilation leading to hypotension. Also, respiratory depression may occur. Try to avoid the combination if possible or take them far apart.
