If the skin is not broken on the back of the neck where the Frontline should be applied then it should be fine. If the wound is near this area I would err on the side of caution and wait for the wound to heal.

∙ 13y agoJust to be safe, don't do it unless you receive permission from the vet to wash it with flea bath soap. It could be harmful to the dog and it could cause some irritation in the dog's wounds.

I would not recommend it. I do know you should never put the canine Frontline on a cat. You should use the canine Frontline for the dog according to his weight and the same for a cat, use feline Frontline only. Why mix them?
