HPTs will definitely pick up a pregnancy that late! Usually they will start testing positive 2-3 weeks after conception. I have heard that some women have extremely low HCGs and therefore it is 6 weeks before they show positive. If you are still showing negative, then pregnancy is not the answer - see a doctor! Please!
Yes. That's why those tests should be repeated several days apart.
Well, I'm not a gynaecologist but I know that there are several factors that might contribute to a delayed period apart from being pregnant. One of them is if your underweight, or if you're not eating properly.
Yes. There are several things that can make you miss a period...stress, hormonal imbalance or irregular cycles. See your doctor if you think it is possible you may be pregnant.
Having several positive urine tests means your pregnant. The test won't come back positive if you don't have the hormone in your system.
One cannot say how many times after having a physical relationship with someone that it can take to get pregnant. Pregnancy can occur on the first or second try, then again it could take several attempts at sexual intercourse for conception to occur. If you want to get pregnant then having sex around the time that you ovulate will increase your chances of a positive result.
The only pregnant women who routinely have shots are Rhesus negative women having Anti-D. Women who have had several miscarriages may have progesterone shots.
I'm pretty sure they can, being it is possible (uncommon) but possible to have a regular normal period the whole 9 months you are pregnant. Most people say that you most definitely can not have a period if you are pregnant but that is a myth. I know several people who were pregnant but yet still got there period every month they were pregnant and it was very normal, not just spotting. So i would assume that yes it is possible to have your "last" period and still be pregnant.I'm pretty sure they can, being it is possible (uncommon) but possible to have a regular normal period the whole 9 months you are pregnant. if uve taken pregnancy tests and they were negative ur definitely not pregnant enough to be showing. altho it is possible to be several months pregnant and still have bleeding every 4 weeks or so. this is caused by background hormones. ur body is still immitating the bleeding it used to do. so if u havent tested its possible that u are a couple months pg.
No. A home pregnancy test will not give an accurate answer until 14-16 days after ovulation. Some brands of tests can provide an answer as early as 10 days after ovulation but they are prone to false negatives. If you get a negative result and still you feel that you could be pregnant always be sure to wait a few days and retest.
Yes, my mother had her periods while pregnant with me. Your ovulated egg can stay in your body several days before dissolving if not fertilized with sperm.
It is possible to become pregnant if you spot on your ovulation days although it is not likely. Ovulation spotting is a sign that you have recently released an egg and it is possible to conceive if an egg is fertilized. There are a few steps you can take to increase your chances of becoming pregnant if you are spotting on your ovulation days: Track your cycle and ovulation carefully to determine the exact day of ovulation. Have intercourse on the day of ovulation or even a few days before as sperm can survive in the body for several days. Be sure to have intercourse frequently during your most fertile days. Eat a balanced diet and take a multivitamin to ensure you are getting all the necessary nutrients for conception. It is important to remember that spotting on your ovulation days may not be an accurate indicator of fertility and that other factors such as lifestyle and health may affect your chances of getting pregnant. If you are trying to conceive it is important to speak to your doctor to discuss your options.
