You normally change the oil on anycar every 2500-3000 miles. If there were a special condition it would be stated in the manual. You can easily drive 5,000 miles between changes on modern engines with todays oil and filters. The 3,000 mile oil change is only recommended by people wanting to make money off it. Read your owner's manual and see when they say to change it. Probably around 7,000 miles.
