well, if you guys REALLY love each other, then you guys should get back together because you don't want another girl stealing him. Talk things over and try to do it calmly without the shouting and the negative side taking over. Couples DO have hard times, but you know what, you guys should just hang on and get through problems together. I may not have a boyfriend and i may not know how hard it is for you guys, but my best friends and I are going in tough things, and we just didn't give our friendship up just because of that, we make each other happy, talk it over, and get through with it together. so i wish the best of luck for you guys.

me and my boyfriend feel the exact same way and we've been having difficulties as well, i think its all apart of having a relationship.
Maybe talk it over with your partner ( tell him that you know things can be confusing but you guys will get through it) Its Normal. , if you guys both broke up then still want 100% a relationship then things will work out , try not to doubt yourself or him.
