Is it possible to get in the hood of a 1993 Buick Century Limited if the hood release cable is broken?

Can't say for sure about the Century but I have managed to open a Le Sabre of the same year.
For the the Le Sabre;
1) Remove the grille. 6, T15 Torx screws. Set aside
2) Remove the hood safety latch. 2, 10 mm socket size screws. Set aside
3) Behind the safety latch you will see the hood release mechanism. In the center of this mechanism, you will see a 'hole' with a piece of metal behind the bracket. This is the latch
4)Grind a piece of steel stock (1/4 inch diameter by about 12 inches long, with a taper on the end to fit in the 'hole'
5) Fit the tapered end of the steel stock into the 'hole' and tap with a hammer. The hood should pop open. If you have any problems, contact a Machinist, "Engineers with dirty hands"
