I looked up the corn snake and it is said that they are not a mean nor poisonous so if that is what you want to do I don't see the issue. It is said that they are sometimes confused with the copper head snake which is very poisonus so I hope you aren't picking up the wrong one...Why the heck are you messing with them anyway? ∙ 13y agoAlthough it is widely known that reptiles carry salmonella, so long as you clean the bite area with mild disinfectant, and apply a clean dressing, you should be fine. HOWEVER in the interest of the well-being of the unborn baby - seek professionalmedical advice.
