Yes. Keep in mind that most applications will still write data to the Windows Registry, so you can't transfer the drive to another computer and expect the program to function.
yes
use a external hardrive
make sure you install from a bootable cd.
Try taking the harddrive out and if it is still intact you can put it in a different working computer with the same size of harddrive
use a different harddrive not using SATA such as an external USB or IEE1394 or SCSI or replace your motherboard with one with more SATA ports (4 ports is standard minimum)
The Geek Squad in Detroit area quoted $90 including downloading the information stored on a working smaller Harddrive on September 14 2012. That was either to install a harddrive I purchased from them or one that I purchased elsewhere and had installed by them. It was only 6 months ago when they only wanted $80
Yes,it'll install on any HD that Windows or Linux can install on. It's just the Formatting of the drive that may need to be changed.
You could put the installation file on the external HDD to install it on another computer but then to install it, it would have to be on a local HDD.
I wanted to run windows xp on my tiger mac OS x. This will simplify a lot of issues for me and make my work a lot easier. I have an external passport size harddrive for my mac laptop. The capacity of the external drive is 120 gigabytes. I will install Spam filter. How do I install Virus protection software on Mac?
Carefully.
It really depends if it is internal or external, with an external, you just plug it in via usb (if you're running XP), but if you have an older version of Windows, you might have to install drivers for a external. With an internal drive, you should just be able to open up tha computer, connect the IDE cables, then you should be ok. Go to the following site for help with an internal drive: http://www.pcmech.com/show/harddrive/43/
It is kept on you PS3 harddrive . You look under your games to find and play it
