The same type you use in a current production diesel motor...
Water is heavier than diesel fuel
Short of re-refining it there is no good way to break the long molecules of motor oil into the size that makes diesel fuel. You can add small amounts of motor oil to diesel fuel and it will burn but it is not recommended.
Little yellow lever (valve) on left side near bottom of fuel filter housing. Push lever and fuel will drain out of hose near bottom of truck.
If you 350 diesel is a 1995 it will have a manual fuel pump it is located in the middle of motor right behind the water/fuel filter look & answer on how to replace on this home page. correction ,this is not a manual fuel pump.it is a mechanical fuel pump
The fuel water separator is located on the frame rail with the fuel filter, you should drain the water and replace the Filter on the frame rail and the filter on top of the motor if your water in fuel sensor light comes on...
Short answer? It won't! Not even for a little while. Long answer... If you screw up and accidentally pour some unleaded into a fuel tank that is partially filled with diesel, it MIGHT run... IF you haven't diluted the diesel fuel too much. Back in the old days, truckers would sometimes mix a little gasoline into their diesel fuel in the winter to help prevent low-temperature gelling. These days, diesel fuel is winterized seasonally, and most diesel trucks and cars come with fuel system heaters to prevent gelling anyway.
.Mixing a small amount of oil in the diesel fuel will not hurt a motor. The motor will run rough and produce black smoke.
I have got water in the diesel fuel on my bmw 32o d 2004 model how do I drain it off
no, a small amount of gas will not hurt a diesel motor. in fact ,before all the diesel supplements were available, truckers would use some gas in their fuel in the winter to remove moisture, and to stop the fuel gelling. also used sometimes to boost power a little. gasoline also cleans injectors
On the fuel filter!
on the top of motor round black housing
