I took both of them together, and I had no bad side effects. Are you taking them for fibromyalgia, or depression or what? Cymbalta works for my depression, but does nothing for my fibro, and neither does Lyrica. Lyrica just made me fat and bloated.

The thought process for my treatment is....
Celebrex to control inflammation Lyrica to stop the transmission of the pain signals to the spinal cord
So far the results have been mostly positive. The only side effects have been dizziness. Your mileage my vary.

You should not take Prozac (fluoxetine) and Celexa (citalopram) together. There are both selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. This means that they work in the same way in the brain and using them together will not increase the benefit. However, using them together can lead to a serious and even life threatening condition known as serotonin syndrome. Sometimes a doctor will combine antidepressants when one doesn't have an adequate effect, but they do not two from the same class.
