Yes. This is a common combination of analgesic and cough products that should have no interactions. Note: especially be careful in reading the dosage for the Dimetapp, as many manufacturers (as Triaminic products) have changes their medication concentrations in the last few years. Overdosage, especially in children under 2 years old, have been frequent enough to prompt the Academy of Pediatricians to try to restrict their use altogether in this age group.
As long as there is no acetaminophen in the Dimetapp, the two medications are completely safe to combine
Yes, it is.
Motrin is safe while breastfeeding but is not recommended during pregnancy.
i wouldnt take answers from the internet. go to a local pharmacist or doctor. it will help a lot more. :)
no a child shouldn't take ibuprofen any way they should take Motrin
Motrin and Acyclovir should be perfectly safe to take together. To be sure that the combination is good for you, check with your pharmacist or doctor.
Motrin.
It really depends on you. Take it out when you think the child is safe. It can depend on the child/infant because of their size too. I'd say 5 give or take a year.
Dimetapp and Allegra have no drug interactions that I can find, however - there are multiple versions of Dimetapp and Allegra that have different ingredients. I would advise contacting a local pharmacist and asking them about the specific version of Allegra you have, and the specific version of Dimetapp you have. You do not want to risk the possibility of overdose.
The Mrs. says "oh no"
Yes it is safe to take both at same time. But only as needed. And as long as u follow dosing then you should be fine. Fioricet contains Tylenol; Motrin does not. This alone makes it safe. My doctors have me taking both 3x daily
can Motrin for a headache be taken while on a nexium regimine
can i take 12hr dimetapp being an asthmatic
Yes, but not for extended periods, less than a week. Do not exceed 650mg Tylenol and 800mg Motrin per dose. Dose no more often than every 8 hours. Or you can alternate them every 4 hours.
